Pops Puts Finishing Touches on Holiday Concert

Under the direction of Diane Cushing, the Pops has prepared an unique and uplifting program of songs that honor not just the holiday season, but bring messages of hope for any time of year. The lineup includes traditional holiday music alongside non-traditional, contemporary selections. The special guest group, The Keene Youth Orchestra directed by Don Baldini will join the Pops for this concert. Monadnock Blend, an entertaining male a capella ensemble, will also perform.

Musicians Steve Cady, bass, Mike Rousseau, drums, will once again join Walt Sayre, pianist, to provide the magnificent accompaniment for the Pops. Mark Baker, also a member of the tenor section, will play violin on three of the numbers. Assistant director Tracey Borden will lead the group in two numbers.

Soloists for this concert are Joni Wright, Lara Germana, Cindy Choate and Crystal O’Brien.

Tickets are $12 when purchased in advance, and $15 at the door.
